Branch performance report

Branch Performance Report (ID: S101)

The Branch Performance Report page is designed to provide users with a  view of sales performance across different branches. It allows users to filter data based on various criteria, view sales figures and visualize the data through charts. This functionality aids in better decision making and performance analysis for the organization.

Steps to View the Branch Performance Report

1. Access the ERP System

  • Log in to the TUHUND ERP system using your credentials.

2. Navigate to the Sales Module

  • Click on the Sales module in the Navigation bar on top.

3. Select Report Tool

  • Look for the Reports section within the Sales module in top right corner.

4. Choose Branch Performance Report

  • Find and select Branches from the list of available reports from the dialogue box.

5. Set Report Parameters

  • Select Date Range: Choose the time period from period option in the toolbar for which you want to generate the report.
  • Select Branch:  choose the specific branch or branches you want the report on from SHOW option in the toolbar in upper left corner.

6. Customize Report Options

  • Choose any additional filters or options, such as:
    • Sales orders (for filtering according current sales order stage)
    • Limit to (for currency)
    • Visibility (to add different elements to the graphical representation)

7. Generate the Report

  • Click on the green arrow button next to legends for customized report generation or else report will be generated based on parameters chosen instantly.

8. Export/print the Report

  • If needed, export or print the report for sharing or printing by using same buttons on top right corner.

Filters Section

This section allows users to customize the data displayed in the report based on specific criteria.

 

 Show Dropdown:

   Purpose: Selects the type of data to display in the report.

     Options:

  • All: Displays all data.
  • Products/Spares & Accessories: Filters to show only products and accessories.
  • Products: Displays only product data.
  • Spares & Accessories: Displays data related to spares and accessories.
  • Services: Shows data related to service sales.
  • Others: Displays other relevant sales data.

 

 Commercial Invoices Dropdown:

   Purpose: Filters the report to show specific types of commercial invoices.

     Options:

  • Completed & Closed: Shows invoices that are fully processed.
  • Approved: Displays only invoices that have been approved.
  • Exclude: Excludes certain invoices from the report.

 

 Sales Orders Dropdown:

   Purpose: Allows filtering of sales orders based on their status.

     Options:

  • Created: Shows all created sales orders.
  • Approved: Displays only approved sales orders.
  • Forwarded: Shows orders that have been forwarded.
  • Delivered: Displays orders that have been delivered.
  • Exclude: Excludes specific orders from the report.

 

 Limit to Dropdown:

   Purpose: Selects the currency used for displayed values.

     Options: Various currencies including INR (Indian Rupee), USD (US Dollar), EUR (Euro), etc. This enables users to view sales data in their preferred currency.

 

 Visibility Options:

   Purpose: Toggles the display of different elements in the report.

  • Labels: Show or hide labels in the report.
  • Values: Show or hide numerical values.
  • Percentage: Show or hide percentage contributions of each entry.
  • Legends: Show or hide legends in charts.

 

 Period Selection Dropdown:

   Purpose: Allows users to select a specific reporting period.

     Options: Various fiscal years and quarters, enabling users to view data for specific time frames.

 

Data Table

 Purpose: Displays the performance metrics of different branches.

 Columns:

  • Branch: Lists the name of each branch.
  • Value: Shows the total sales value for that branch.
  • %age: Indicates the percentage contribution of each branch to the overall sales.

Chart Section

Purpose of the Chart:

 The chart helps users quickly assess which branches are leading in sales and which may need attention or improvement. It provides a clear visual representation that can highlight trends or disparities in performance across different locations.

 

 Content:

   Displays a chart that illustrates the performance of each branch, making it easier to compare sales figures visually.

In the Branch Performance Report page, the chart visually represents the performance of different branches in terms of sales values. Here’s a breakdown of what is being compared in the chart:

What is Being Compared:

1. Sales Performance:

    The chart compares the total sales values of each branch, allowing users to see which branches are performing well and which are not.

 

2. Percentage Contribution:

    The chart may also illustrate the percentage contribution of each branch to the overall sales total, providing insights into how much each branch contributes to the company's revenue.

 

Example Visualization:

Branch RGFE-BLR might show a high sales value (e.g., ₹9,37,43,208), indicating strong performance.

Branch RGFE-TPR might show a high sales value (e.g., ₹4,75,69,228), indicating performance.

Branch RGFE-DHL might show a high sales value (e.g., ₹1,39,15,195), indicating performance.

Branch RGFE-LDA might show a significantly lower sales value (e.g., ₹1,01,77,530), indicating weaker performance.
