1. Introduction

This report provides a detailed analysis of inventory variances within the TUHUND ERP system for Cumberland Trading. It explains how to access the inventory variance report, use available filters and dropdowns, and interpret the results for stock reconciliation and financial tracking.

2. Accessing the Inventory Variance Report Page

To access the Inventory Variance Report Page in the TUHUND ERP system:

  • Log in to the TUHUND ERP portal.
  • Navigate to Inventory > Reports > Variance.
  • The inventory variance report page will display discrepancies between recorded and actual stock, along with associated financial impacts.
  • Use the filters and dropdown menus to refine and analyze specific variance records.

3. Understanding Filters & Dropdowns

The Inventory Variance Report includes multiple filters to refine records based on specific criteria.

3.1 Filters Available

Helps you filter the report data based on financial or actual cost

Organizes data for better analysis

Order (Ascending/Descending)

Defines sorting order (A-Z, Z-A)

Controls data presentation

Minimum Low/High

Helps the user to filter report data based on min low or high values

Quick filter to help user filter the report based on min high or low values.

All Categories

To help user see the report as they wish, specifically from one product/brand perspective or whole inventory at once

Choose specific product from specific brands or whole inventory to include in report.

Search Bar

Allows searching by product name, ID, or model

Quickly finds specific stock variances

period

Filters records based on transaction dates

Analyzes time-based stock discrepancies

3.2 Dropdown Elements & Their Functions

Show (Variance Type Filter)

This dropdown allows users to filter inventory variances based on type:

  • All Variances – Displays all recorded discrepancies.
  • Positive Variance – Filters surplus stock records.
  • Negative Variance – Shows stock shortages or losses.

Sort By Dropdown

Users can sort inventory variance records based on:

  • Variance Quantity – Arranges records by discrepancy in stock quantity.
  • Variance Value – Sorts records by financial impact of stock variance.
  • Product Name – Organizes transactions alphabetically by product.
  • Brand – Groups records by product brand.
  • Model – Sorts records based on product model.

Order Dropdown

This controls the sorting order of records:

  • Ascending (A-Z or Lowest First) – Displays transactions in increasing order.
  • Descending (Z-A or Highest First) – Displays transactions in decreasing order.

Recommendation: If handling large data, sorting by Variance Value helps identify high-impact discrepancies.

4. Understanding the Results Table & Data Comparison

After applying filters, the Inventory Variance Report displays variance data in a structured table.
